To top all this off, Big Wilson Stream flows out of Lower Wilson Pond right under the bridge that takes you to Borestone Mountain. On the way there you can stop at Spectacle Pond to drop a line. Many other bodies of water within a short road trip are Monson Pond, Hebron Lake and just up the road a piece along Route 15 there's this big body of water that's named Moosehead Lake. Some of the areas lakes include Onawa, Big Greenwood and Little Greenwood, plus Sunset, Midday and Sunrise ponds. This area is truly a sportsman's paradise, as it has many lakes and ponds and miles and miles of woods. ![]() He's been catching so many trout he lost count, and when he tired of fishing he picked Fiddleheads. John Peterson of the Kittery Trading Post has been hanging around Borestone Mountain in the beautiful Elliotsville, just a stone's throw from Willimantic, Maine. Oh well, back to the woods and waters where I feel much more comfortable. My favorite comment, however, was "Golly Gee, you aren't just a piece of bait on a hook tied to a line that is connected to a fishing rod!". Even more agreed that I should do more articles about nature. A few mentioned that they didn't think I knew anything but fishing.
